Where is Lloyds TSB's main branch located?
Our main branch is located in a landmark building on Al Wasl Road in Jumeirah. We pride ourselves on being accessible to our customers: we provide plenty of customer parking, we have long opening hours and we also offer Offshore PhoneBank and Internet banking services. In addition to our main Branch, we have a Customer Service Centre (CSC) located in the Arabian Ranches Community Centre .

Is there any plan to open new branches and extend the branch network or alternatively open Customer Service Centres?
Currently, the UAE Central Bank does not permit foreign banks to open new branches but our branch is supported by various Customer Service Centres. We are planning to open other centres at different locations over a period of time.

What are Lloyds TSB's opening hours?
Our Jumeirah Branch is open from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Saturday to Thursday, except for Tuesdays when we are open from 9:00am to 5:30pm. Our Customer Service Centre is open six days a week, Saturday through Thursday from 8.30am to 5.30pm. Additionally we offer a 24 hour Internet Banking services

Being a one branch bank, what is the reach of Lloyds TSB's ATM network? Is there any tie-up with any other bank's ATM network?
We have Lloyds TSB ATM machines located in all our Customer Services centre's as well as our main branch in Jumeirah. In addition to these, we have an ATM situated in Dubai International Financial Centre's (DIFC). Of course, other ATM's on the UAE Switch Network are also available to our customers, but the individual bank charges a small fee of AED 2 for this service.

We have customers all over Dubai who appreciate our focus on customer service. Our branch offers ample parking and is easy to find and get to. We are supported by our four Customer Service Centre's located at the Arabian Ranches Community Centre. We also offer 24hr Offshore PhoneBank and Internet banking.

Who can open a Current Account with Lloyds TSB Middle East? How much money do I need to deposit to open a new Current Account? Do I get Cheque Book facility on my Current Account?
Anyone who has a valid residence visa, six months bank statements and a letter from their employer stating their position and salary can open a Current Account.
The minimum balance is waived for the first 2 months. After that a customer must maintain a minimum balance. Cheque Books and Visa Payment Debit cards are provided for all current accounts.

Can I also get an international a debit card with my Lloyds TSB Middle East account?
Yes, an account opened in Dubai with Lloyds TSB comes with a VISA 'Payment Card' that you can use virtually anywhere in the world. Not only does your card enable you to withdraw cash from an ATM (daily limit of AED10,000), but you can your card for in-store purchases too (daily payment limit of AED 15,000 subject to available funds). Your Lloyds TSB Visa Payment card also offers a 48hr Lost Card Protection and 90 days Purchase Protection.

Who can open a Fixed Deposit with Lloyds TSB Middle East? How much money do I need to deposit to open a new Fixed Deposit? What is the interest on Fixed Deposits? Can I break my Fixed Deposits before the maturity date? How do I renew my Fixed Deposit?
All you need to do is complete an application form and offer deposits for 1 month week to two years. Minimum deposit amounts are AED 20,000, USD 10,000 and GBP 5,000. Interest varies on different currency deposits and the period. You can break a deposit before maturity but there is a breakage charge of AED 500 250 or 1% whichever is greater. Fixed Deposits get renewed automatically on maturity unless a fixed period is specified.

How do I apply for a loan at Lloyds TSB Middle East? What documents do I need to furnish to apply for a loan?
All you need to do is complete an application form and provide the following documents. If the customer does not bank with we require six months bank statements, a letter from the employer stating position, salary and duration of employment with the company and a valid residence visa. A guarantor is not required however the bank can ask for security against the loan (end of service benefits assigned to the bank or deposit in guarantee). If a guarantor is required then he/she must be a Lloyds TSB customer.
