The following programmes have been launched especially for talented UAE National students, under graduates and graduates. Each programme provides participants with a dedicated team of people to oversee their development through the entire programme.
HeadStart Programme
This is a full time salaried programme specifically designed for UAE National school leavers, looking to build a career in banking. The programme will provide all participants with hands on experience in each of the core business units of the bank through 3 one year long placements.
It’s a full time role, 5 days per week and takes a period of 3 years to complete. The HeadStart participant will rotate between roles and business units on an annual basis. The programme includes internal and external training as well as full access to a coaching, mentoring and a buddy network.
The support network for this programme consists of the line manager, Emiratisation Development Manager, mentor and buddy.
Undergraduate Development Programme
This programme offers UAE National students an opportunity to attend a first class development programme and to earn a regular salary whilst studying for their higher education qualifications. At Lloyds TSB you can learn about the key concepts in banking and get a great overview of all departments involved, as well as picking up some valuable hands on experience and skills.
The Undergraduate Development Programme only runs one day per week, mostly on Saturdays, it can be combined easily with higher education.
The support network for this programme consists of the Emiratisation Development Manager and the Management Trainees.
Management Trainee Programme
This programme offers talented graduates who successfully complete all of their modules to a fast track to management. Four six-month placements will take you all around the banking business, from strategy to operations, from projects to people management. The development scheme is based on our successful UK programme. It includes high level training courses as well as on the job experience, including a potential placement with Lloyds TSB overseas – everything you will need to become a manager.
The Management Trainee Programme is full time, five days per week, and takes two years to complete.
The support network for this programme consists of the line manager, Emiratisation Development Manager, mentor and buddy.
Full Time Programme
If you have decided to work with Lloyds TSB in a full time role, we will provide you with a full induction programme covering every area of the business. In your induction, you will learn all about us at Lloyds TSB Middle East and will be fully prepared to do your job before you embark on the journey into your new role.
